CMS - A division of Carrier South Africa. Commercial Systems or CMS as commonly used is the range of products that is the corner stone on which the Carrier Corporation was founded.

The first ever “air conditioning” plant was invented and installed by Willis Earl Carrier in 1902. This installation was put into a printing company to solve the problems resulting from temperature and humidity variations. Thus the first air-conditioned plant was launched over a hundred years ago. Today we are still the largest manufacturer of air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems. We were also the manufacturer to use ozone –free refrigerants that do not deplete the ozone layer.

The Carrier Corporation is a member of the United Technologies Corporation (UTC) which operates in more than 180 countries and is the 51st largest corporation in the USA, with a long history of pioneering innovation in aerospace, aviation, helicopter design, climate control, elevator design and hydrogen fuel cells.

The CMS Range of products incorporates, Air and Water Cooled Chillers, Hydronic Fan Coil Units and Cassettes, Rooftop Packaged Units & Ducted Split Units both in Heat Pump version and cooling only.

Our well renowned range of chillers are today still build to the same quality and standards together with unique accessories and most importantly carry the Eurovent mark for those machines built at our factory in Montluel France. These units are all compliant to the Montreal & Kyoto Protocols using ozone friendly refrigerants and offering the latest technologies to produce the most hi efficient and low noise units in the market place. We are still truly the world’s leader in our industry.

We are represented in the three major centers with qualified and respected personnel in our industry backed by our Carrier Service division who’s sole purpose is to support the CMS range of products.
